Find Contradictions in Docs

Catch the numbers and dates that disagree across a client's files.

Client files disagree more often than anyone admits. The planning deck says the launch is in March. The latest report says April. One document puts the cost per lead at one number and another doubles it. If you build a recommendation on the wrong one, it is your name on it.

When a long document comes into a client mind, Armbrain pulls out the facts and decisions first. For documents with real substance, it also runs a second pass on its own, comparing the new document with what is already stored. That pass looks for:

You can also ask for it directly, for example right before a planning meeting or when you inherit a pile of old files.

One rule makes this useful: ask Armbrain to show both sources and not pick a winner. Deciding which number is right is your job, and often the right move is to ask the client. Read the document synthesis guide.

Try it

  • Armbrain, do any of Ridgeline Outfitters' documents disagree about the fall launch date?

  • Armbrain, what themes keep showing up in Ridgeline Outfitters' reports this year?

  • Armbrain, how has Ridgeline Outfitters' cost per lead changed across their reports?

Prompt of the day

Show me where the files disagree

Change these first:

CLIENTCOMPANY = Ridgeline Outfitters Armbrain, look at the last three reports and the planning deck stored for CLIENTCOMPANY. List any numbers or dates that disagree, with both sources, and do not pick a winner.

Why it works: It surfaces conflicts before they reach a recommendation, and showing both sources leaves the call to you, where it belongs.
