Check Strategy Decks Against Facts

Before you present, check every number and promise in the deck against what the client mind holds.

A strategy deck gets built over a week of late nights. A number gets copied from an old report. A promise from the last meeting never makes it in. The client notices in the room.

Armbrain cannot tell you whether your strategy is brilliant. It can tell you where your deck disagrees with the record: saved decisions, results from connected apps, and promises made on calls and in email.

How to run the check

Treat the output as a checklist, not a verdict. Some conflicts are real mistakes. Others are decisions that changed and never got saved, which is worth fixing too.

Better to find the slide with last year's number before the client does. Read the document synthesis guide.

Try it

  • Armbrain, list every decision saved for Fieldstone Software this quarter, with dates, so I can check my slides.

  • Armbrain, what did we promise Fieldstone Software in the last month that is still open?

Prompt of the day

Check the deck against the record

Change these first:

CLIENTCOMPANY = Fieldstone Software CLIENTCONTACT = Jordan Armbrain, before I present next quarter's plan to CLIENTCONTACT at CLIENTCOMPANY, check this deck against what is stored. Flag any number or claim that conflicts with a saved decision, any promise we made that is missing, and the five hardest questions CLIENTCONTACT is likely to ask, each with the stored evidence. Mark gaps. I will paste the deck text below.

Why it works: It checks the deck against facts, not opinions, so you fix real conflicts and walk in with evidence ready for the tough questions.
