Import Read.ai or tl;dv Transcripts

Armbrain does not currently connect directly to Read.ai or tl;dv. You can still add any transcript in a few minutes: copy it from the meeting tool, paste it into Claude, and tell Claude which client mind should receive it.

This is a manual, one-meeting-at-a-time workflow. It does not continuously sync new meetings.

Before you start

You need:

Wait until the transcript is complete. A transcript that is still processing may be missing the end of the conversation.

Copy a transcript from Read.ai

  1. Sign in to Read.ai and open the meeting report.
  2. Click Download near the top right.
  3. Choose the transcript option from the download menu.
  4. Open the downloaded transcript and copy all of its text.

If Download is missing or disabled, your Read.ai workspace may have disabled report downloads. Ask the meeting owner or workspace administrator for access.

Copy a transcript from tl;dv

  1. Sign in to tl;dv and open the meeting.
  2. Open the Transcript tab.
  3. Move your pointer over the transcript area and click the Copy button.
  4. The full transcript is now on your clipboard.

tl;dv says both the meeting owner and the person copying the transcript must have a Pro or Enterprise plan. It does not currently support bulk transcript exports.

Paste it into Claude

  1. Start a Claude chat where Armbrain is connected.
  2. Replace the bracketed details in this message:
Ingest this transcript from [meeting date] with [Client Name].
Store it in [Client Name]'s client mind and preserve speaker attribution.
Ignore small talk and repeated transcript noise.
After ingestion, tell me what was added, updated, or skipped.

[paste the complete transcript here]
  1. Paste the transcript below the message and send it.
  2. If Claude asks which client mind to use, name the client explicitly before continuing.
  3. Review Claude's ingestion receipt before moving on.

For a transcript too large to paste in one message, split it into labeled sections and send them in order. Repeat the meeting date and client name with every section.

What Armbrain stores

Armbrain cleans common transcript noise and extracts useful client knowledge such as:

It also checks for duplicates, so importing corrected or overlapping transcript text should not create a second copy of the same memory.

Verify the import

Check the ingestion receipt for three things:

  1. It names the correct client mind.
  2. It reports what was added, updated, or skipped.
  3. The extracted items reflect what people actually said.

Then ask Claude:

What decisions and commitments did you store from the [meeting date] meeting with [Client Name]?

If the answer names the wrong client, stop and tell Claude to correct the destination before importing anything else.

Troubleshooting

Read.ai has no Download button

The meeting owner may not have shared download access, or the workspace may block report downloads. Ask the owner or workspace administrator to export the transcript.

tl;dv has no Copy button

Confirm that both you and the meeting owner have an eligible paid plan and that you are viewing the Transcript tab.

Claude asks where to store the transcript

Reply with the exact client name. Do not use your personal mind for client meeting content.

Claude stores little or nothing

Confirm that you copied the full transcript rather than only the meeting summary. Include the meeting date, client name, and speaker names, then try again.
