Business OS
Start the quarter from what actually happened.
For leaders and fractional executives who plan in quarters. Armbrain keeps each quarter's rocks, results, issues and decisions in the team's mind. One prompt reviews the ending quarter and drafts priorities for the next one.
- Granola
- Google Drive
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
The grind
Planning day starts with digging.
Choosing next quarter's priorities means rebuilding this one: which rocks finished, which slipped, and what was never recorded. Planning then runs on memory, and the loudest voice wins.
- Nobody can say for sure why last quarter's biggest rock slipped.
- Issues parked during the quarter are forgotten by planning day.
- New priorities get chosen without checking what the numbers showed.
The flow
From quarter review to new priorities
Review every rock
Armbrain lists the quarter's rocks with owners, final status, and notes, making progress easy to see.
business_osrock_listClose out the stragglers
Mark each unfinished rock as dropped or carried forward. Every change waits for your confirmation.
business_osrock_updateWaiting for your OKPull what the quarter taught
It gathers the quarter's decisions, campaign results and parked issues from meeting notes that came in from Granola, documents from Google Drive (Shared Drives are not included), and the weekly Google Analytics 4 traffic snapshots saved in the mind. The Analytics access is read-only.
search_memoryBuild the planning pack
Armbrain puts the review, the results and the open issues into one planning pack for the session.
business_osprep_quarterlyChoose and save the new rocks
Pick three to five priorities with the team. Armbrain saves them as next quarter's rocks, with owners, after you confirm.
The payoff
Priorities you can explain.
Every new rock traces back to something real: a result, a slipped goal, an issue the team kept raising. When the quarter ends, the review starts from a record instead of a rebuild.
Change these first:
CLIENTCOMPANY = Fieldstone Software Armbrain, help me close this quarter and plan the next one for CLIENTCOMPANY. 1. Switch to the CLIENTCOMPANY mind. 2. List this quarter's rocks with owner, final status and one line on what happened. Suggest done, dropped or carry forward for each, and ask me to confirm before you change any rock. 3. Summarize the decisions made this quarter and the results of the campaigns we ran, with dates. 4. List the issues that were raised but not solved. 5. Build a planning pack for the quarterly session: what worked, what did not, the open issues, and five candidate rocks for next quarter, each with a one-line reason tied to something you found. 6. When I choose the final rocks, save them for next quarter with the owners I give you, after I confirm. Show a source for every result and decision. Mark anything you could not find.
Example prompt. The client and people in it are fictional; replace them with your own.
Before you rely on it: A planning pack reflects what was saved during the quarter. If key results never reached the mind, add them before the session. Treat the candidate rocks as a starting point for the team's discussion, not as the decision.
