The morning briefing is most useful when you do not have to remember to ask for it. Connect Slack, and Armbrain posts the briefings you schedule to a channel you pick, so the day's picture is waiting where you already start work.
How to set it up
- In Armbrain HQ, open Briefings and choose Connect Slack in the Slack delivery panel.
- Approve the Armbrain Briefings app in Slack. Your Slack admin may need to approve it.
- Pick a channel. A new private channel with just you and the Armbrain bot works well. To use an existing private channel, invite the bot to it first.
- Run one briefing from the Briefings page to check that it arrives.
What can arrive
Your morning briefing, your weekly summary and a cross-client summary. Prefer email? Briefings can go to your inbox instead, or to both.
Share the channel with your VA
Invite your assistant to the briefing channel, and you both start the day from the same list.
One limit to know
This connection sends briefings to Slack. It does not read your Slack conversations into a client's mind.
